Need a healer for fractals and strikes

I have 5 classes, necromancer, guardian, elementalist, ranger, revenant. I made a heal tempest with exotic gear a while ago and have been using it for stikes and lower level fractals but i feel like its a lot of effort just to keep alac up, not being able to create that much of a buffer, and if the group takes a bunch of damage when im overloading fire or earth for example i either have to pray they live till im done the overload or ruin my alac uptime to use healing skills to keep them alive. This coupled with the fact that people dont seem to know how to stack properly at the lower level groups that i am in and tempest's seemingly poor application radius makes me want to try something different before i make an ascended set to go deeper into fractals. Firebrand seems so spammy so i am not so interested in that for now.

Which healer builds from the 5 classes mentioned above are somewhat easy to play but still effective at the highest level fractals. If firebrand is THAT much better than everything else i dont mind giving it a go but i would like some suggestions please. Maybe im misunderstanding tempest? i dont really know.
