Anyone else notice other state subreddits are different?
My BF and I both native Hoosiers and like many of you, I've grown increasingly alarmed and depressed by Indiana's increasingly far-right politics and overall negative trends, but never seriously thought about leaving. My BF lived in New Mexico for a while and loved it. Out of curiosity I browsed their subreddit and there wasn't nearly as much negative posts about their state. Lots of pictures of scenery, the art scene, outdoor activities or location recommendations. Political discussions tend to describe it as moderate. Now I'm leaning more towards seriously thinking of moving. I'd be leaving my community, family and friends but it seems like it might be worth it.
