Your opinion on "crimes" by the Indian army?

What are your thoughts on, for instance, the Kunan Poshpora case or the Manipur case? Those who don't know, the accusation is that a battalion of rajputana rifles allegedly raped an entire village. As far as I know the Army conducted a court of enquiry and denied these accusations. But the counter claim is that they are interested parties. Former Press Council of India (PCI) member and senior journalist BG Verghese said, "I stand by my report. The accusation of mass rape is nothing but an exaggeration. There are just chances of inappropriate behaviour and molestation."

So what's your opinion on this? Do you think these violent crimes took place and is there any evidence for them?
